Hedge End Bowls Club is a friendly club that welcomes members of all ages and abilities from beginner to more experienced bowlers. There are a range of roll-ups, matches and competitions organised throughout the year to suit all standards and abilities. The club also have several coaches available to assist whether you are new to the sport or looking to improve and refine your technique.

Outdoor Bowling

The outdoor bowling calendar runs from April to September. During this time there are a range of matches and competitions which take place.
This includes Monday triples, an internal club league,daytime roll-ups for new to bowls players and a Friday evening roll-up open to all playing members.
You will also be able to book available rinks for personal play using our online system.
Throughout the bowling season the club organises several club competitions for members to compete against each other, in both mixed and single-sex competitions. The finals of these competitions are held over a weekend, normally in early September.
Hedge End Bowls Club is also affiliated to Bowls Hampshire and a member of Southampton & District Bowling Association in which we enter both mens and ladies teams in various leagues.
Club members are also welcome to enter a range of outdoor competitions both in Southampton & District competitions and Bowls Hampshire County competitions.

Indoor Short Mat Bowling
Our indoor short mat bowling season runs from the end of September to the end of March where two mats are laid down in the clubhouse.

There are several organised triples leagues, which are played both during the daytime and evening. There are also organised roll-ups, club competitions and friendly matches which are played against other short mat clubs.
